Sutherland Shire Ballet Classes at Inspire

Whether you’re an experienced dancer, or learning for the first time, Inspire has a Ballet class for you! Classical Ballet is a beautiful, artistic and technical genre which equips dancers with essential skills to excel in their dance training.


Here at Inspire, it’s also lots of fun! In ballet you will learn…

  • Barre exercises to warm up and strengthen the muscles, and to refine technique such as plies & tendus which form the basis for all jumps, leaps, kicks and pirouettes

  • Correct alignment of the body and strong technique

  •  Correct Classical Ballet terminology & interesting theory about the genre

  • Expressive choreography and creative routines

  • Perform in our end of year Inspire Creative Arts production

  • PLUS optional Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Classical Ballet examinations
