'Inspire's Little Lights'

Inspire's Little Lights is an imaginative introduction to Dance for ages 18 months - 5yrs. Through exploring creative movement that intertwines the foundations of Classical Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap and Musical Theatre, our vision for every child is to: Encounter the wonder and joy of dance & music / Discover just how creative & capable they are / Build skills, confidence and friendship / Realise their unique potential, and 'let it shine'. Jazz Dance Classes

These are energetic and dynamic classes combining Jazz technique & progressions (developing strength and coordination in kicks, leaps & turns), along with fun and versatile choreography! We are vigilant in selecting appropriate music, lyrics, costuming & choreography choices in all Jazz classes, from our youngest to oldest students.

Contemporary & Lyrical

Students can explore and express their own unique style through the creative rhythms of Contemporary & Lyrical dance. This genre maintains a key focus on physical strength, control, musicality, expression, storytelling and innovative, conceptual & exciting choreography.

Classical Ballet Classes

Inspire provides the opportunity to learn the beautiful technique of Classical Ballet in a positive and encouraging environment. Students may progress through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus and complete examinations, or attend our creative non-syllabus Ballet classes that are all about dancing for the love of the art form. We have Ballet class options for all ages and abilities!

Hip Hop Dance Classes

Grooves, tricks & skills drawn from a variety of urban influences and flavours, followed by powerful & strong choreography that will have your heart pumping!

Tap Classes

Students aged 6+ years have the opportunity to learn the rhythms of tap dance! Dancers will learn a wide range of steps from the Glen Wood syllabus and have the option to pursue examinations if you wish.

Musical Theatre Classes

Jam-packed, exciting classes where students explore the art of storytelling and experience the magic of modern and classic musicals. Each session begins with group vocal coaching, before adding acting and dance elements to tell the stories of a series of musicals throughout the year. Request a 2023 Musical Theatre & Drama Guide.

Drama Classes

Improvisation, playbuilding, script work, characterisation, comedy, live performance and more, our Drama classes are a brilliant way for students to grow in self- confidence, communication skills, team work, leadership, and the process of creating works for the screen and stage.
